Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions:
- The Company: Formby And Crosby Turf, Registered Offices: formbyandcrosbyturf.co.uk
- The Customer: Any person contracting with Formby And Crosby Turf for the supply of products or services.
- Product: All items sold by Formby And Crosby Turf, including turf, topsoil, and bark.
- Delivery: Refers to delivery by Formby And Crosby Turf or any subcontractor employed directly or indirectly.
2. Submission of Purchase Order:
Submission of a purchase order is considered agreement to these conditions of sale.
3. Supply of Products:
- Turf is a living and perishable product, requiring laying within 24 hours of collection or delivery.
- Customers are responsible for turf inspection upon laying, with dissatisfaction complaints to be emailed within 48 hours.
- The product becomes the customer’s responsibility upon collection or delivery.
- Formby And Crosby Turf is not responsible for faults arising from customer neglect or external factors.
- Leatherjackets in turf are not valid grounds for a refund or product replacement.
4. Delivery:
- Delivery charges are postcode-dependent.
- Formby And Crosby Turf aims to deliver on the agreed date, but delays are not the company’s responsibility.
- Customer must inform of delivery issues; sufficient access and a safe unloading area are customer responsibilities.
- Delivery is to kerbside only, and the customer is responsible for moving the product from there.
- The company is not liable for loss or damage during or after delivery.
- Customer presence is required during delivery, with immediate reporting of any discrepancies in product quantity.
5. Collections:
- The company’s premises is a working farm; Formby And Crosby Turf is not liable for damage or loss during loading or customer presence.
- Customer must report product shortage before leaving the premises.
6. Payment and Liability:
- Full payment by debit/credit card or cash is required before loading.
- Customer is liable for any on-premises damage and must ensure their vehicle is not overloaded.
7. Cancellation:
Customers may cancel within 3 days from the order date, via email to info@formbyandcrosbyturf.co.uk.
8. Order Amendments:
- Amendments must be made before dispatch; no amendments after dispatch.
9. Customer Data Protection:
- Formby And Crosby Turf ensures customer privacy, using personal information only for account administration and requested services.
- Personal information will not be shared for marketing purposes outside the business.
10. Statutory Rights:
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
