This hugely popular product is a special formulation of screened topsoil and organic soil improver. A blended topsoil that is light and easy to shovel, does not get sticky when wet and has minimal stone content.

It can be applied or incorporated before laying turf and will aid turf establishment, drainage and soil quality.

Blended topsoil is supplied in 0.76m3 bulk bags that weigh approximately 800kgs. One bag contains approximately enough soil to cover an area of 25 square metres to a 2.5cm (1 inch) depth. Use our handy calculator on the tabs above to work out how many bags you’ll require.

Classic Lawn Turf is characterised by a thick, green grass sward with an abundant rooting system, meaning that the turf rolls are easy to lay and will establish rapidly into the prepared soil.

It is a fine leaved but hard wearing lawn turf grown from a specially selected seed mix that contains:

• Dwarf Perennial Ryegrass
• Slender Creeping Red Fescue
• Strong Creeping Red Fescue

The seed is sourced from the country’s leading seed houses where it is blended to the exact proportions required to form a quality lawn turf. It is then sown into our carefully prepared fields and nurtured through to maturity by our experienced team. The growing cycle is at least 18 months, which ensures a healthy and dense sward with a fully developed root system to ensure rapid establishment following installation.

Classic Lawn Turf is extremely popular with landscaping professionals, garden designers, garden centres, golf courses and private gardeners.
